Films have been around for decades but it has only been in the past 30 years that we have been able to watch films at home. There are millions and millions of videos/DVD’s etc. bought and rented in America every month but now it can be even easier because it is now doable to download movies directly to your computer right from your home. So pick from the list below and enjoy!

Seize the Day – Williams is momentous as Tommy Wilhelm, turning 40 and a disappointment by any standard, he is penniless, damaged and despondent for love. Wiseman and Stiller offer fine aid as his cold hearted dad and a con man he naively believes in. Lots of familiar faces in tiny roles – Tony Roberts, Richard Shull, John Fiedler, Jo Van Fleet, William Hickey, Eileen Heckart, and numerous others. Cast includes Robin Williams, Joseph Wiseman, Jerry Stiller, and Glenne Headly. (93 minutes, 1986)

Juno – Juno is a smart young girl facing a huge quandary. She is pregnant. Hoping the best for the child she strives to find a fitting set of parents for her infant. With the support of devoted parents, Juno tries to deal with coming of age before her time.

The Manchurian Candidate – A current day version of the 1962 movie. Decorated war hero Raymond Shaw is now positioned to become the Vice President of the US. His Mother, Senator Eleanor Shaw is pulling all the political strings. A problem is developing for her plans. Major Bennett Marco, a member of Raymond’s platoon is beginning to doubt the events of the day Raymond saved the platoon. Marco is battling an uphill battle, but cannot defend against the troublesome feeling that something is not right.

Thief of Baghdad – Reeves looks for the mysterious blue rose so he could wed the Sultan’s baby girl. This is nothing like the Sabu version, although this is a great piece of work. Cast includes Steve Reeves, Giorgia Moll, Arturo Dominici, and Edy Vessel. (90 minutes, 1961)

Down to You – Prinze and Stiles futilely try to buddy us up by talking straight into the camcorder, illuminating how their once pleasant college romance went bust (albeit not as bust as the film). In someway, this movie manages to find room for subplots in reference to a TV show and a friend who has a try as an adult-film entrepreneur with a sort of bohemian experienced porn actress. Cast includes Freddie Prinze, Jr., Julia Stiles, Shawn Hatosy, Selma Blair, Zak Orth, Ashton Kutcher, Rosario Dawson, Henry Winkler, and Lucie Amaz. (91 minutes, 2000)

Scream 3 – As the title implies this is the third motion picture in the Scream series. Sydney has run away to Northern California, and is in hiding. Back in L.A. they are filming a motion picture about Sydney’s life. When there are a series of murders on the set of the motion picture, Sydney must return to L.A. and help the cops locate the killer.

Liar Liar – Fletcher Reede is a hard working attorney who is always disappointing his wonderful young son. Finally, before blowing out the candles at his birthday, Max makes his wish. He requests his father to not be able to lie for one full day. The consequences are definitely hilarious.

The General – One of Keaton’s greatest silent movies, setting comedy dissimilar to real Civil Battle story of a stolen train, and Union spies. Not as bizarre as other Keaton films, even if wonderfully finished. Cast includes Buster Keaton, Marion Mack, Glen Cavender, Jim Farley, and Joseph Keaton. (100 minutes, 1984)
